The Mortgage Hut open new headquarters
The Mortgage Hut has officially opened its new headquarters just four years after the company was started in the bedroom of its founder, Chris Schutrups.
The Mortgage Hut is headquartered in Southampton, Hampshire and currently has five branches operating in the region. The company provides advice on mortgages, re-mortgages, life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, contents and buildings cover as well as surveys and evaluation.
The Mortgage Hut is also an umbrella company for specialist mortgage advisors Police Mortgages and The Contractor Mortgage Company.
"I sometimes find it hard to believe the company I began in my bedroom four years ago has now not only expanded to seven branches across the south, but also incorporates specialist mortgage advisors Police Mortgages and The Contractor Mortgage Company.
"Our company is thriving and out new headquarters is a mark of that. Our expansion means we have and will be recruiting more staff which is good news for our company and the local economy. We'll also continue to invest in skills by offering apprenticeships in the mortgage industry."
The Mortgage Hut will be working as part of the Mortgage Advice Bureau's Network. Chris asked MAB's CEO Peter Brodnicki to perform the ribbon cutting to launch the new office and announce the new relationship with MAB.
"I was thrilled to be asked to open The Mortgage Hut's new headquarters, and seeing so many people attend the grand opening is testament to the hard work and success of both Chris and his team.
"It also emphasises how well regarded the company is across the region. I am looking forward to seeing the company build strongly on the success it was already achieved, and working with Chris and his team to deliver an outstanding, professional and valued service."
