Santander do away with ATP’s on Help to Buy
Santander For Intermediaries have announced that, for new business from Monday 25th June 2018, they will no longer need to see a copy of the Authority To Proceed (ATP) document before a new build case can be reviewed by an underwriter.
This improvement will significantly improve offer speed, and greatly assist the application flow for advisers. However, for the current Help to Buy pipeline (cases submitted prior to Monday 25th June) they do still require the ATP form.
Santander has also recently allowed applications with estate agency fees paid packages from house builders on Help to Buy cases (subject to a maximum combined amount, with other incentives, of 5% of the property value).
They have now updated their incentives page so you can review what is acceptable here.
